Scott's Liquid Gold Mold Control 500 is a two-part system. NOTE: To prevent the possibility of spraying pure propellant from the aerosol container, do not allow liquid in mixing bottle to become empty during use. The combined liquid from Parts A and B remains active for 12 hours after mixing. Product must remain on treated area for a minimum of 10 minutes. Contents of aerosol container are under pressure. Do not puncture or incinerate container. Do not expose to heat, fire, sparks or flame. Do not store at temperatures above 120°F. Intentional misuse by deliberately concentrating and inhaling contents can be harmful or fatal. After treating with Scott's Liquid Gold Mold Control 500, to completely restore affected area to its original appearance, it may be necessary to reapply paint or stain
STORAGE AND DISPOSALDo not contaminate water, feed or food by storage or disposal. StorageStore in a dry place no lower in temperature than 50 degrees fahrenheit or higher than 120 degrees fahrenheit. Container Disposal:Rinse empty container with water but do not reuse. Plastic containers may be disposed of in a sanitary landfill, incinerated, or if allowed by local authorities, by burning. If burned, stay out of smoke. Pesticide Disposal:Pesticide wastes are acutely hazardous. Improper disposal of excess pesticide, spray mixture, or rinse is a violation of Federal Law. If these wastes cannot be disposed of by use according to label instructions, contact your Safe Pesticide or Environmental Control Agency or the Hazardous Waste Representative at the nearest EPA Regional Office for guidance. For your safety, professionals recommend appropriate eye and respiratory equipment be worn when undertaking mold abatement procedures.
MOLD REMEDIATION CLEAN-UP METHODSPrior to application of Scott's Liquid Gold Mold Control 500, clean the affected area using one of the following or another preferred professional method. Method 1:Wet vacuum. (In the case of porous material, some mold spores/fragments will remain in the material but will not grow if the material is completely dried. Method 2:Damp-wipe surfaces with plain water or use a wood floor cleaner, scrub as needed. Method 3:High-efficiency particulate air (HEPA) vacuum after the material has been thoroughly dried. Dispose of the contents of the HEPA vacuum in well-sealed plastic bags. To Disinfect, Deodorize and Clean:Prior to disinfecting of surfaces, spray Scott's Liquid Gold Mold Control 500 mixture (Part A and Part B) onto the surface and allow to penetrate. Then clean all surfaces thoroughly. To disinfect surfaces, reapply the mixture and allow to remain wet for 10 minutes. No scrubbing is necessary. Scott's Liquid Gold Mold Control 500 will not leave grit. Bacterial Activity:When used as directed, Scott's Liquid Gold Mold Control 500 exhibits effective disinfectant activity against the organisms: Staphylococcus aureus, Salmonella choleraesuis, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, and meets the requirement for hospital use. Mildewstat:To control mold and mildew on hard, nonporous surfaces, clean the surface to be treated then spray with the Scott's Liquid Gold Mold Control 500 to wet completely. Let the surface air dry. Reapply as new growth appears. To Disinfect, Deodorize and Clean:Prior to disinfecting of surfaces, spray Scott's Liquid Gold Mold Control 500 mixture (Part A and Part B) onto the surface and allow to penetrate. Then clean all surfaces thoroughly. To disinfect surfaces, reapply the mixture and allow to remain wet for 10 minutes. No scrubbing is necessary. Scott's Liquid Gold Mold Control 500 will no leave grit. Fungicidal Activity:Scott's Liquid Gold Mold Control 500 has been demonstrated to be fungicidal against Trichophyton mentagrophytes. Use as directed on hard, nonporous surfaces. Mold Control:To control mold and mildew, clean the surface to be treated then spray Scott's Liquid Gold Mold Control 500, making sure to wet completely. Let the surface air dry. Clean surface and reapply as necessary. Deodorizing:To eliminate odors, mix equal parts of Scott's Liquid Gold Mold Control 500 Part A & Part B and apply to surfaces until they appear wet. Allow surface to remain wet for at least 10 minutes; allow to air dry. Contact Time for All Surfaces:Allow surface to remain wet for 10 minutes.
FIRST AIDIf Swallowed:Call a poison control center or doctor immediately for treatment advice. Have the person sip a glass of water, if able to swallow. Do not induce vomiting unless told to do so by a poison control center or doctor. Do not give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. If in Eyes:Hold eye open and rinse slowly and gently with water for 15-20 minutes. Remove contact lenses (if present) after the first 5 minutes, then continue rinsing. Call a poison control center or doctor for further treatment advice. If on Skin:Remove contaminated clothing. Rinse skin immediately with plenty of water for 15-20 minutes. Call a poison control center or doctor for further treatment advice. If Inhaled:Move person to fresh air. If person is not breathing, call 911 or an ambulance, then give artificial respiration, preferably mouth-to-mouth, if possible. Call a poison control center or doctor for further treatment advice. NOTE TO PHYSICIAN:Probable mucosal damage may contraindicate the use of gastric lavage. |
